This game was created by Tapio Vierros for the 2016 Seven Day Roguelike Challenge, with the aid of rot.js library and lots of code reuse from my last year's 7DRL, Beware the Space Bears.
Graphics and sounds were made by a multitude of talented people, gathered from OpenGameArt.org
Some inspiration was taken from these two excellent games: Pixel Dungeon and Hoplite. You should totally try them also!
Your goal is to decend to the dangerous depths of the world without dying. Pick up valuables and sacrifice them on altars to get perks from gods. These perks will help you to not die. :)
Navigate by clicking/touching the tile where you want to go. You can also use the keyboard (arrows, numpad, Vi-keys). Bump into stuff to interact, i.e. attack enemies, pick up loot etc. Right click/long press prints info on things in the world.
During play, you can access settings - such as fullscreen and sound toggles - from the upper right corner of the screen.
Before your demise on level , you managed to kill creatures and survive for turns.
During your journey you collected coins and gems. You sacrificed to gods times.
After turns your adventure ended in triumph at dungeon depth . Before that, you slaughtered creatures and collected coins and gems. You made sacrifices to gods.
